5th-7th May, Cotswolds

We are looking for a cook to work for a few families sharing a house for the May Bank holiday weekend. It would be cooking for 8 adults and 11 children. You would be required to live out and provide supper on Saturday 5th May, breakfast and dinner on Sunday 6th and breakfast on Monday 7th. Pay would be £700 to include the cost of the food.

 

18th-19th May Kidderminster

We require someone or two people to help on a wedding weekend at a rented property. You would need to make lasagna and salads for 70 people for Friday night along with a kids tea for 8 children. On Saturday come in to lay out and serve a bought-in lunch of ham, salmons etc, then do another kids tea and then a 3 course dinner for 65 people but they will provide the wedding cake. Please let us know fee and staffing requirements.

 

Bury St Edmunds, dinner on Saturday 12th May

We need a cook to prepare food and possibly ac cookery demonstration for 21 hens at a rented house.

 

4th-11th August, Uzes, France

We are looking for a family cook for a week in France this Summer. You would be cooking for 4 adults and 4 children all nine years old and above.  BBQ's, salads and occasional dinner party style food in the evening.

 

July and August Corfu (Possibly longer)

We are looking for a chef and a host to work for family and guests at an exlusive villa in Corfu over the Summer season. You would be cooking at a high level and must have lots of experience in this type of villa. The family took a couple last year and they were accomodated nearby. You would cook all meals as required for a variety of guests including their children. You would have a car and get one day off each week. Pay to be discussed approximately £150 Euros per day for the cook and 100 Euros per day for the host.

 

Full time position - Brechin, Angus

We are trying to find the right person for a full time job in Scotland working in a beautiful location for the principal and his wife.  They have regular guests and their house and gardens are open to the public. They would offer a cottage within the grounds as part of the package. They have breakfast, light lunches and dinner of 2 course each evening, but when there are shoots another cook is brought in, so you would be working under them on larger occasions. You must be able to drive and have transport and you can have a dog if it is in your cottage and not brought into the main house. You would be working on an hourly rate to begin with and then on a salary basis. You wopuld have two days off each week and must be able to work some weekends.  Connections in Scotland would be a bonus.  They are looking for a March start date. 

 

7th-14th October, Sutherland, Scotland

We require a very good lodge cook for a job cooking for 12 guests during their week at Gualin. The family want somone Scotland based and are happy to pay £650 per week. You will be making breakfast, preparing food for packed lunches, afternoon tea and 3 course dinners each night with either pudding or cheese.

 

2nd June, Purton, Wiltshire

Two friendly cooks are required by a cook who is preparing a wedding for 150 guests. She is a guest at the wedding so will prepare everything in advance but needs 2 people to come in and work on the day. You would be required to mainly assemble the food on the day.  There will be canapes at 5pm and dinner at around 7.30pm, there are plenty of other staff already booked. Please apply with hourly rate expected. 

 

8th-15th July, Ullapool, Scotland

We require a cook for a family with young children on holiday in Scotland next summer. Numbers have not been confirmed yet, but you will need to prepare, breakfast, light lunches, prepare something 2-3 times during the week which can be brought out by the family for afternoon tea, children's teas and 3 course dinners each evening.  Pay to be negotiated.

 

19th-26th August, Loire Valley, France (Under offer)

We are looking for a couple of cooks to work in France for a week this Summer for a family of 10 adults, 10 children who will be celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary. They would be wanting breakfast, light salad or BBQ lunches, children's teas and tasty suppers each night. Please let us know if you are keen. The pay would be £400 each.

 

Full time Housekeeper/Cook Oxfordshire and London

We are recruiting for a full time person to help with a family of four who live between Oxford and London. They will be relocating to Gloucestershire in the near future. The children are 4 and 8 years old and the husband is Spanish so a knowledge of Spanish would be an advantage. You must be able to cook to a reasonable level. Your duties would include walking their medium sized dog for an hour per day, organising the children's breakfast each morning, doing the house work and ironing for the whole family plus every two weeks washing both cars inside and out.  You must also be happy to  assist in the early evening with the children.  The family travel and you may be offered an opportunity to travel with the family. The working hours would be Monday to Friday 7am until 6.30pm. If you are interested in this position, please contact us for more information.

 

2nd July until 2nd September, Mallorca

Two cooks are required to help a family and their friends in Mallorca for this summer. The house is owned by one member of the family and other members come throughout the period so the guests would change every week or two. There are around 12-14 to cook for at any one time.
