#25002 Cook or pair of cooks needed for work retreat of 30 people, Tuesday 23rd - Thursday 25th September Tenby Pembrokeshire

We are looking for a cook or a pair of cooks to prepare food for a company strategy trip.

The accommodation is Bayview House near Tenby, Pembrokeshire,

Dates are Tuesday 23rd - Thursday 25th September.

The house is large enough to host their entire group for seated meals. There will be 25-30 people.  

Meals to be prepared:

Tuesday

No meals but will double check if cooks can come in to do prep work for the next day.

Wednesday

Continental breakfasts from 8 - 9:30am

Seated dinner on the Wednesday evening from 7:15pm (see notes below)

Thursday

Continental breakfasts from 8 - 9:30am, clear up then free to elave.

Wednesday Dinner Notes:
Outside veranda canapes and champagne, followed by an inside seated 3 course meal 
7:15pm – 8pm – champers & canapes on veranda, or inside, weather depending.

8 – 9:30pm – dinner service

Client would like servers for the champagne and the food to make things run smoothly and feel formal.This may need to be sorted by the cook – something to discuss with the client I think but please let me know your thoughts on whether you can achieve this if you apply for the role.

Drinks will be provided and paid for by the clients. But would like the cook to bring rented champagne and wine glasses please – include this in your quote please.

Nice, somewhat fancy table settings for each course please. They’re not looking for fine dining, but some nice touches – such as name cards, candles, some decorations on the table etc. They are ppen to suggestions!

Accommodation will need to be sourced by the cook locally with clients happy to cover the cost of this.

Travel will be 45p per mile.

Please send through a quote: Client has some idea on pricing – “Price range wise, we're looking at £15 - 20 per person for each of the 2 breakfasts, and approx. £60 per head for the dinner.” Thought I would mention this – not sure how you will want to quote. I imagine day rate plus cost of ingredients to cover this price range?

And please let me know what your travel costs approx would be at 45p per mile (both journeys please).
