on hold #24012 graduate/chalet style Cook needed for 2nd – 11th August, County Galway in the West Coast of Ireland

Looking for an easy going, relaxed and family friendly cook to prepare food for a large family on holiday in County Galway. A chalet style/newly grad cook would be great for this role.

They are a large family of 20, including 12 adults and 8 children.

Each day the meals they need are as follows:

Children’s tea at 5pm – easy simple meals, pasta/sausage chips etc.

Adults dinner – a hearty but simple supper, one course usually would be ample for them. Very happy with big lasagnes, pies etc.

They do not need breakfast or lunch to be prepared by the cook. They realise numbers are large so would like the cook to just concentrate on supper.

They are very happy to help with serving the food.

There is a Lidl and in the town near by (Clifden) with not the largest selection of food so they are not expecting fussy meals but heaty family friendly cookery with whatever you can source in the Lidl!

Accommodation provided.

Travel all to be paid for as well. Local is great but happy to pay for flight and car hire for someone from the UK. The chef must be a driver!

Very happy for a lesser experienced cook as they do not want to pay for a premium chef for this but cook must be competent enough to handle these numbers. Looking to pay circa £150-£200max per day.
