#26004 Cook needed 17/18th to 24/25th August 2026 in Deal Kent

Looking for a great easy going chef who is happy to cook around some chaos! They need someone who can crack on and doesn’t need to much direction, and they are to prepare food for the family over the course of a wedding at home. It will be the days leading up to and over her daughters wedding. She doesn’t want the stress of cooking for lots of people during this special time! Numbers varying 10-15 people - all adults.

Dates 17/18th to 24/25th August, final dates TBD. Please let me know your availability on application.

Location Walmer in Deal, Kent

Cook must have their own car

The wedding is on the 22nd so food set up to be

17th/18th/19th/20th/21st

No breakfast

Lunch: Easy 'grab and go' lunches as everyone will be busy prepping for the wedding - not sit down meals!
Supper: 2 courses, so a main and maybe pudding - good food but not fine dining

Plus a cake people can have with a cuppa mid afternoon

22nd This is the wedding day so set up different

Breakfast: people will fend for themselves mainly, except 22nd where they would like breakfast available for those who should want it

Lunch: a hot sit down lunch about 3.30 for photographers / band at the wedding

No supper

23rd Day after wedding

Possibly breakfast TBC

Buffet salads for lunch

No supper

24th/25th  Back to set up on pre wedding days

Other roles:

Food shopping and keeping kitchen in order
They are a relaxed but busy household, family will help chef moving between kitchen and dining room.

Rate is £250-300 per day.
